Praying God's Word.....

How do Christians learn to practice 2 Corinthians 10: 3-5, “tearing down strongholds by captivating our minds with the knowledge of God?” Beth Moore teaches that to be set free from each and every stronghold which claims our lives, we have to replace it with the mind of Christ and fervent daily prayer.

Praying God’s Word is a topical prayer guide addressing fourteen strongholds and what Scripture reveals about each issue. The Scriptures are presented in prayer form to be incorporated into the daily prayer life as a way of letting God’s Word, through prayer, help you overcome the strongholds of bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, and other areas as well.

Included in this pack is the companion Devotional Journal. Shed the spiritual burdens of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness as you work through Moore's topical prayer guide one day at a time! This deluxe journal edition of Praying God's Word features a roomy 2-page spread for every devotional experience, with ample space to apply Moore's powerful insights to your own unique circumstances.

This is a modern classic on prayer. I hope you enjoy it for yourself.

What do you think of your Velvet Elvis?????

The image “http://www.god4me.com/images/pictures/4G20HXXXXX-80.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

We have to test everything. I thank God for anybody anywhere who is pointing people to the mysteries of God.

But those people would all tell you to think long and hard about what they are saying and doing and creating. Test it. Probe it. Do that to this book. Don’t swallow it uncritically. Think about it. Wrestle with it. Just because I’m a Christian and I’m trying to articulate a Christian worldview doesn’t mean I’ve got it nailed. I’m contributing to the discussion.

God has spoken, and the rest is commentary, right? Rob Bell, founding pastor of Mars Hill Church, and star of the NOOMA killer video series, has written this book in response to challenge given by contemporary Erwin McManus - to write something before you die!

Velvet Elvis is the postmodern (ultra-modern, pre-modern) commentary on the lived Christian faith. Check it out right here

Have you read The Ragamuffin Gospel?

This book is blowing my mind! It is so real, so genuine, so authentic!!!

Many believers feel stunted in their Christian growth. Oftentimens, we beat ourselves up over our failures and, in the process, pull away from God because we subconsciously believe He tallies our defects and hangs His head in disappointment. In this repackaged edition-now with full appendix, study questions, and the author's own epilogue on "Ragamuffin Ten Years Later"- Brennan Manning reminds us that nothing could be further from the truth. The Father beckons us to Himself with a "furious love" that burns brightly and constantly. Only when we truly embrace God's grace can we bask in the joy of a gospel that enfolds the most needy of His flock-the "ragamuffins."

I don't know about you but I need that furious love---up close and personal !

Get in step with the entrepreurial spirit...

Get in step with God’s entrepreneurial spirit. Two of America’s most influential pastors have drawn up a compelling blueprint to help churches and individuals move out of the sanctuary and into the community.

Kirbyjon Caldwell and Walt Kallestad explain how to create innovative partnerships that join the church’s passion for ministry with the expertise of the business community to meet physical and spiritual needs. Through biblical teaching and case studies from churches of various sizes and in a variety of locales, the authors show that the life of faith is an adventure of risk-taking in ministry.

Entrepreneurial Faith challenges pastors, lay leaders, and individual Christians to invest their skill and passion in practical expressions of ministry. The same principles provide a new avenue for community-minded professionals to partner with churches to bring needed services to the community. With this book as a guide, you can stop being a spectator and start putting your faith to work by diving into the adventure of entrepreneurial ministry. Right now, right where you are, you can make a needed difference in a needy world.

Indeed this is a necessary book for those pastors and leaders who are willing to step out of the boat of normal church and into the bold initiatives of entrepreueurial faith.
